About Jane Chaikowsky

Jane Chaikowsky's journey in the jewelry industry began in 1987, when she gained invaluable
experience working in various jewelry stores. During this time, she discovered her passion for
jewelry appraising and recognized the importance of offering a transparent experience.

In 1994, Jane made the bold decision to open her own jewelry appraisal service, Chaikowsky Jewelry Appraisals LLC, driven by a deep commitment to trust and integrity. By inviting clients to observe the appraisal of their valuable jewelry during private appointments, she has not only earned their trust but also built lasting relationships. Today, she continues to offer expert services to the public, lawyers, law enforcement, and the jewelry trade.

Committed to providing the best service to her clients, Jane Chaikowsky maintains continuing
education through professional conferences, including industry-specific conferences, hands-on workshops and training programs, certification programs, webinars, and peer learning groups.

Community Engagement

Jane is an esteemed gemologist and speaker with a rich background in both education and the jewelry industry. She has delivered lectures at various schools, insurance groups, and organizations, sharing her expertise in the field. Jane has also authored several notable articles, including:

She serves on the board of the Accredited Gemologist Association Educational Scholarship and Research Grant Committee and is an active member the GIA Delaware Valley Alumni Association, the Accredited Gemological Association, the American Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

In recognition of her contributions to the industry, Jane received the prestigious GIA Alumni Achievement Award from the Delaware Valley Chapter in 2007.
